DESCRIPTION
In a memory channel cluster, rebooting a node without performing a hardware reset can crash other members with a RM_AUDIT_ACK_BLOCK panic.

SCOPE
This problem may occur on systems running HP Tru64 UNIX where the MC II hardware may be broken or experiencing intermittent problems. This specific problem can occur with HP Tru64 UNIX versions 5.1A and 5.1B prior to base level BL24.

The following product versions are affected:

• 5.1B-PK2 (BL22) or prior patch kit
• 5.1A-PK5 (BL23) or prior patch kit

RESOLUTION
The fix for this panic is included in the following versions of HP Tru64 UNIX BL24:

• V5.1A-PK6 (BL24)
• V5.1B-PK3 (BL24)

If the system cannot be upgraded to BL24, then pull the appropriate ERP from these locations.

The ERP distributes the following file(s): ./usr/opt/TruCluster/sys/rm.mod.
