Script Set (DBMSS) tool download
The Database Migration Script Set (DBMSS)
is a tool designed to simplify the process of migrating from an Oracle® database on a Tru64 UNIX® AlphaServer to
an HP-UX 11i system. You can use this tool to generate scripts that will create a cloned Oracle database by connecting
to and extracting the information from an existing Oracle database. The purpose is to minimize the effort required to
migrate to an HP-UX 11i system.

System requirements |

To use this kit, your systems must have
the following requirements:
- Supported HP-UX installation platforms:
- HP-UX 11i or higher running Oracle 9i or higher on PA-RISC
systems
- HP-UX 11i or higher running Oracle 9.2.0.2 or higher on
Integrity systems
- Tru64 UNIX V5.1B or higher running Oracle 8i (8.1.7) or
higher
- Perl v5.6.1 or higher running on HP-UX 11i

- Download the DBMSS installation package to your HP-UX 11i system.

DBMSS installation package
- Log in to your Oracle DBA user account on your HP-UX 11i system.
- Copy the DBMSS installation package to the Oracle DBA user account.
- Extract the DBMSS installation package using tar.
- Consult the installation instructions as outlined in the
README.txt file.
