Configuring Tru64 UNIX systems is now a lot easier
with the Quick Setup utility. After you install the
operating system software, a checklist appears on your
display.
If you only have to set up a client workstation,
select Quick Setup, answer some straightforward questions,
and that utility will do all the necessary configuration
for you.
When you're done with Quick Setup, you have a completely
configured client workstation all set up for you.
If your configuration is slightly more complex,
you can still use Quick Setup for the majority of
your needs. When you're done with Quick Setup, select
Custom Setup for any special server configuration.
Custom Setup will examine your Tru64 UNIX system
and list only those utilities that apply.
