This document contains the release notes for Multimedia Services V3.0 for
Tru64 UNIX.
This document contains information which became available too late to be
included in the official product documentation. Please read these release
notes thoroughly before attempting to install or use MMS V3.0.
This kit will install properly on Compaq Tru64 UNIX 5.0A.
Changes:
========
1. All video hardware has been retired. Only software based video is
now supported.
2. A Creative Ensoniq sound card has been added.
3. A bug in the ESS sound driver has been fixed to
prevent dropout during playback. A couple of seconds of dropout would
occur at 3 minutes, and periodic intervals thereafter.
