The Driver Development Tool is designed to assist developers (both new and experienced with Compaq Tru64 UNIX) to quickly and easily create device drivers for the world's leading 64-bit operating system. This tool creates templates meeting your criteria, complete with routine stubs and configuration attributes to adhere to the Compaq Tru64 UNIX 5.0A Driver model. Once generated, these templates can be compiled and linked both statically and dynamically. In addition, templates can be generated to guide you through the process of building and linking the resulting module. Our goal is to provide you with as much code as possible to present a functional and instructional device driver to speed your product to market.
