Performance management tools
The performance
management capability of Tru64 UNIX has been
modified from one large performance management
tool (pmgr) to several
smaller and more versatile tools. The performance
management tool suite consists of Collect, Collgui
plus Cfilt, and two SNMP agents (pmgrd and clu_mibs).
These tools are included with the operating system
and do not require separate licensing.
System management tools
SysMan
Menu, a suite of graphical tools developed
for Tru64 UNIX, makes your job as a system
administrator easier by providing you with
a graphical interface for your administrative
tasks. You can expand administrative categories
in the SysMan Menu so that you can quickly
find the task you need; invoking the best
available application to do the job.
SysMan
Station provides a high profile view
and status of a system's physical and logical
objects. It is the central point from which
to manage a Tru64 UNIX system.
