HP Insight Management Agents for Tru64 UNIX

Tru64 UNIX Insight Management Agents v3.6 with patches is the latest version to be used on Tru64 UNIX v4.0F and v4.0G.

Tru64 Insight Management Agents do not replace the agents that were installed with the base Operating System. When installing the Insight Management Agents from the Web, the startup scripts on the system are modified to point to the location of the new agents. Deleting those agents will restore the original version that was installed with the base Operating System.

Version 3.7 can be installed only on Tru64 UNIX v5.1A and above!

Version 3.7 offers the following features and capabilities:

• Command line configuration utility for System Management Homepage.New!
• Search support for Tru64 Insight Management SNMP agent web applications.
• Secured HP Insight management web applications using older version of HTTP server (libcpqhmmo.so) by forcing proxy access via System Management Homepage.
• Integrates a diagnostic tool into sys_check utility for troubleshooting installed Tru64 Insight Management agents kit.

Version 3.6 offers the following features and capabilities:

• Integrated the Sysman and Config Report HMMOs into System Management Homepage; Replaces previous SMH model (in CPQIM340 and CPQIM350 ) that required an individual HTTP service for each SMH plug-in.
• Group Configuration Support: Through HPSIM , the replication of SMH security settings can be performed from a source system to a number of target systems. For more information, refer HPSIM user guide.
• Upgraded to System management Homepage. version 2.1.5
• System Management Homepage upgraded to Apache2 2.0.54, SSL 0.9.8 and PHP 4.4.2
• Fixed reported Problems with version 3.5.
